I enjoyed the read, and there were some lovely photos in there.I'm hoping to pick up a 5D3 tomorrow, but will have to wait a while before I can afford any primes for it. The first will probably be the Sigma 85mm f/1.4, since I can't afford the Canon f/1.2.
If you can't be bothered to look, the conclusion is that the 5diii is the best overall wedding camera However it's not without it's faults - mainly this is with the viewfinder focus points issues but also some extra auto ISO options would be good, UHS SD card compatibility and more DR from the sensor.http://www.phildweddingphotography.co.uk/index.php/2012/05/canon-5diii-for-weddings/---ISO8000!These types of ambient light shots would have been especially difficult to capture with the 5dii:
