Aperture 3 now supports 5D Mark III RAW files

Maybe I did not notice an update for Aperture 3... but when I connected my card reader to my Mac, Aperture 3 magically recognized the .CR2 RAWs from my 5D Mark 3.  I then proceeded to import the RAWs and processed them and it works! Did anybody notice an update that included 5D Mark 3 RAW support?

Have you done a comparison to files processed in LR4 or DPP? Curious if Aperature suffers from the same noise/softness issues as LR4/ACR.
