5D3 weather sealing...

Has anyone splashed their 5D3 and had it keep on keeping on?
Is it fully weather sealed with o-rings for everything?

From comments on the web, it seems that the Nikon D800 is not fully weather sealed as it is missing rubber o-rings in various places (battery compartment). Can anyone that has used a 5D3 and D800 comment on that?

I see sealing in all the important places.  I tried shooting some lightning as a storm was coming in and it got a little wet, but I wouldn't call it a significant amount of moisture.

I got caught in the rain and it still works like a charm. Here's a photo of my 5D Mark III wet:

The 5DIII's weather sealing is equivalent to that of the 7D - good, but not up to the level of current 1-series bodies.  There are some rubber gaskets, but many of the seals are 'manufacturing tolerances' (finely machined joins with no other underlying seal). 

I've used my 7D in light rain on several occasions with no issues.

Yeah, I see black foam gaskets where my 1d's have proper rubber gaskets. However, I have it insured and I am not going to start to care if my camera gets wet, (even as a hobbyist) if I want to shoot in hard rain and it fails but I got the shots I wanted, I am happy, "hello is this the insurance company? New 5d3 please" and they say "yes, here's the check, buy yourself a new one and have fun"
