Amen to that! My 5D III is sharp as a tack. It blows my 7D out of the water on sharpness, color and high ISO. Of course, it should since I paid what I paid for it.

The 5D mkiii has lots of nice, new, sleek, ergonomic curves- it's not sharp any place I can see

I am getting sharper images with the 5D3 then I did with the 5D2. I also see the artifacts as a result of that (moire, for example). I have had to use the moire adjustment brush in LR4 a few times now, something I never once did with the 5D2. So I believe the AA is in fact, weaker.

Wait a minute - IS does increase DR by lowering the ISO - but lowering the DR increases the blur so we cant win

Ok, so we don't confuse anyone with our sarcasm... IS will only allow you to lower your iso if you are shooting a stationary subject... I think eveyone knows that but I would feel terrible if we were being stupid and someone took it as fact...

Just to throw a spanner in the works - I did have to return my first 5D3 because it wouldn't autofocus properly.  So if this is something other people are experiencing, they may say the camera is soft when in fact they have a faulty unit...

my first one was a PoS the new one seems pretty sweet so far
