5D mk3 Viewfinder Issue

Just got my mk3. Upgraded from the original 5D.
When looking thru the viewfinder I can see a reflection of the front view at the bottom of my visual field.
That can't be right, can it?

Same here, but only when I look down from the top of the VF. In normal usage the reflection is out of my view.
