MK III screen protectors

This topic was discussed somewhat a couple of months ago but I wanted to ask more specifically if the conventional wisdom suggests a film protector (XO Skins type) or a hard protector (Vello glass type) is best.  Or nothing at all??  I recall Mt. Spokane said there is already a protective cover there the could be changed.  My bias is to apply some type cover anyway - either film or one of the thin glass ones.  I'll appreciate your comments.

I used both on my 5D III:

1. Hard Cover on 3.2 screen - where you do liveview shooting
2. XO skins on small screen - I don't like to feel the bump on the hardcover

To me, they both good
