The back dial will eventually be absored by a touchscreen gesture(s).  It's the next logical step.

I don't think this will replace the back dial, it's much faster to change settings with this and a top lcd - and we'll have to see how the touchscreen performs with cold, sweaty or dirty hands, gloves or a screen protection above it.

burst rate on 60d is double that of the 650d in raw ,1/8000 shutter , 250 sync speed, finer iso settings. weather sealing. and it does not say rebel on the camera.

Thanks for reminding me - I'm always taking these for granted an am using all of these (except jpeg) a lot, so anything below a xxd would be indeed a no-go for me - and this for a relatively minor added $$$. For the record, even the 5d3 only has 1/200 x-sync, though it only matters for 2nd curtain or else you'd use hss.

i does seem like a rework of the 18mp sensor about a 1 stop improvement high iso. looks like canon did good with this one cant wait to see the 70d.

How do you know?  Just because they increase the maximum possible ISO setting doesn't mean that there's any improvement in RAW image quality or any reduction in ISO noise in the RAW image.
