Sorry - you're right. Canon makes their own CMOS across the lines, and the S100 added a CMOS to that series.  I think they source their CCD sensors from Sony, though...

Agree, isn't the S100 successor expected to be announced later this month?


So hopefully any new S100+ or G12+ might have a Canon CMOS sensor?
