i love this combo, but I can only put the lens up to F/18, after that it starts loosing sharpness

I respect your opinion..but, your critique is crazy IMO...It's a great shot the way it is.

How many adverts (which this shot basically represents/mimics) aren't cheesy? It's more representative of stock or concept photography than art, even if there is art involved.

Love the color and lighting. Was there any way to throw some back-lighting on the ice when you setup the shot?
