These are all very good.   The whole series in black and white works very well.

I like the last photo from the first post the most (the one where she's resting her head on her hand).  Technically you seem to have nailed it.  Lighting, sharpness & DOF, composition.  I'm not sure how I feel about the watch though - it's slightly distracting.

The B&W conversion looks great on all of these images.  What did you use?

Call me old school but I've always like eye contact in portraits. In a portrait, the person is the subject and the background should always add to that or not take away.

These are more like candids to my brain than portraits. The one with eye contact was the best IMO.
