Check your local Best Buy's as well...two stores near me are showing it in stock...I think I'm going to run over and pick one up today or tomorrow and cancel my B+H order...

That's what I did. One of the Best Buys near me had one on Monday. Cancelled my pre-order with a US retailer who still shows it as out of stock.

just placed the order 10 minutes ago and I already have a tracking number. Looks like it is getting shipped today. Big thumbs up to Norman! Now i'm off to cancel my pre-order from adorama.

B&H isn't necessarily the first to get things...especially in the 'consumer' price range.  Amazon fulfilled my S100 pre-order before B&H even started shipping them.

$199 CAD = £124 english, except its not 124 quid in england its 220 quid, not too sure how that works out, maybe the currency conversion pixies are taking their cut for the christmas party. a lot of companies call england "treasure island", you can see why

I didn't even think of checking Best Buy, thanks aloper!  Placed a pick-up order about an hour ago.  Already have it in my hand.

The lens is very interesting.  Looks really weird on my old 5D1.
