The post by Kai Pfaffenbach shows me what I want to see out of the 1DX more than any other post I have seen really. The images looked really sharp and clean (I can't see any grain) and AF was spot on with a high frame rate to allow him to capture the perfect moment. This tells me that while the 1DX might cost $6,800, your getting you money's worth and more.

Nice, but what I would really like to have seen is the same shot taken side by side with a 1D Mark IV. I know it was not possible for the guy promoting the 1DX but now the 1DX is becoming available then I hope we will see some real life comparisons between the two cameras.
1D X + backup + different L lenses etc. Saving for 400 f/2.8L IS II.

5d mk iii kill the 1d mk iv in low noise tests, so I imagine a 1dx would be even more of the same.

The 1D4 beats the 5DII so it is not exactly shabby
