A couple from recent events. These were from triathlons. Both shot with 5dm3 and 70-200L II. Top one, who can resist the feeling you get seeing this kid have the time of his life! I just love the colors some racers use in their equipment, and its just a nice shot. :D

I had a go at some sports photography at the Olympics... very tricky! I tried to get a good shot of every competitor in the Mountain Biking final ... put them all on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/trevorsmeaton/sets/72157631097788316/

How on earth did photographers do this back in the day? Pre focus?!!!

My very first Track and Field event ever. Canon 5D3 with 70-200mm 2.8.

Nice shot, what kind of settings were you using?

I shot this at ISO 200, F 2.8 and 1000 shutter

Shot an Ironman today and the 5dm3 didn't fail me. Used setting 2 on IS on the 70-200 shot bikes case 3 4 pt af, excellent focus and re-focus speed, shooting bikes where they are in groups is the most demanding of skills shooting these events. Keep thinking of selling 1dm3 and 5d and buying a second 5dm3. Shot 16000 iso at 6:15 am as people gathered to the start area, just amazing. I shot this for another company so i don't have samples, sorry.
