personally, i think you should just get whichever is cheaper. B+W should be the better brand though.

But, at least for me, the CPL is so rarely used it's ok as long as its a decent filter.

B&w kaisemann polorizers have been my choice for years. Solid and rugged. No IQ loss either.

Rodenstock is not a common name here on Canon rumors, but they have a very Illustrious name in Photographic history, and produce top grade lenses.  I would not hesitate to buy Rodenstock, B&W, or Heliopan filters, they are all top of the line German made optics and glass.

Hoya Pro1 filters are well reviewed.

I use hoya pro 1D CPLs they are good but can be a pain to clean, make sure you have a lens pen as they are really good at cleaning up the hoya pro1D filters if they get hard to clean marks on them

The new Nano coating on the B+W XS-Pro filters are pretty good and easy to clean.

I also bought the Marumi DHG Super Circular PLD and I love this filter.  I have a B+W as well, but don't like it that much because I can't put my lens cap on with it attached.  The Marumi filter can except the lens cap, which is very convenient for me. 

Also the Marumi is a lot cheaper than the B+W!!!
