Stunning image with the couple and car, looks HDR and two lights. Is that how you set it up? I like how her dress looks and the paint of the car. Whats the story with the ominous clouds? What happened that day?

No HDR.  The light on their rights was just. The sun sneaking through the clouds, then the other side of them was lit by two speedlites through a shoot-thrgh umbrella.

I definitely edited it afterwards, but it came out pretty close to that straight out of the camera.

Sorry for ruining the party but doesnt the focus look off in many of these? What is wrong with the color? What is it with wedding photographers and messed up light room filters. Why would you want to make your 5DMk3 look like it was shot with your fathers (or grandfathers) Yashica with the wrong WB Agfa film?

Photography is just like anything else dude.  Everyone has different styles.  Get over it.

Photography is just like anything else dude.  Everyone has different styles.  Get over it.

People hire photographers who have certain styles because of those styles. More than likely they get the normal color version as well as the edited one. That's how i do it at least.

I would hope so! than to be stuck a crappy style that some dude thought was a great 'style' last decade. Is that like ugly is the new beautiful? I recall  another photographer on these forums posted his wedding pics that were shot on his brand new 5d3, they were overly hazy and was discussing that the client was so pissed off they demanded the RAW files and their money back for ruining their wedding pics.  We are partly responsible for promoting what good looks like. Soon enough other are going to want it. A gain I must apologize for being honest here. I cant tell you how many times i have see lightroom filters for sale and wonder why would anyone want their pics to look like that. We are going to get over this Instagram mentality and to me the sooner the better. BTW my comments in this post are not about the photographs posted here. Its about wedding photography in general.
