Oh it's important to make sure your subject is back lit also.  I'm currently editing a crazy big wedding, but as soon as I'm done will put up the effect on my blog.

by the way i have to say you photographic skills far exceed your web design skills :P
not that i can talk i'm not even doing my own site and its still under construction :(

Heh my website design is from 2007 (www.trentchau.com), it's so dated but I'm kinda emotionally attached to it :)

The girl in the field pic is fantastic.  very nice..your experience as an artist shows through here.
