Spent the latter part of the day in San Clemente at the beach here in southern Cal.  It was bright and sunny and everyone was happy.  I opted to change this mood as we photographers can do on the fly to a more gloomy kind of thing and came up with a stark, predator-type "I'm watching you" kind of shot

Not a particularly nice beach, but I snapped a few of these on the 4th of July in Winthrop, MA.
Thank goodness i had my camera, because i would have been bored to tears otherwise.

I believe it is called the Bixby Creek Bridge, and it is on the 1 just south of Monterey, CA.  Here is a shot from the same vantage point, but just panned to the shooters left so the bridge is in view...

Awesome shot. tones, saturation and comp look really nice.  Tonemapped I assume?  If not, nice reverse ND grad filter usage, if so how many exposures...

On a recent trip to NYC and Philly, we spent a day at Ocean City, New Jersey...taken with PowerShot SX40 at 34mm, f/7.1, 1/1250 sec, ISO 100
