Another Cheetah Shot, late afternoon Light, just finished eating a Kill, Thompson's Gazelle, ate the thing to almost nothing in about 30 Minutes, Cheetahs eat fast, always in mind that Leopards, Hyenas and Lions will easily push them off a Kill.

Thanks Gary, nothing quite like an African Dawn/Sundown to help an Image. This Young Lady helped by Looking back into the Sun, allowing the Eyes to blaze.

Thanks Northstar.  I haven't gotten to say it, but your sports shots are great.

I actually didn't do too well at this game.  It was so incredibly cold and windy, and we had just had 65 degree weather, then suddenly down to 38 and windy.  My hands hurt and I guess I just wasn't "into it."  I only had about 37 keepers.

Oh well, next time right?  :)

Lynx in a cold breeze and low autumn sun. There are only about 350 animals in around 60 family groups left of this beautiful animal here in Norway. One feels privileged to have seen it.

38 and windy will quickly take the fun out of it! :-\

I've been thinking of buying a higher quality pair of thin and form fitting leather gloves that I could use during times like that.

That's about 350 more than are left in the UK. Nice shot. I'm about 90% sure I saw a Scottish wildcat once (the rarest animal in the UK, around 400 left) and that set my heart racing at 5.45 on a cold March morning. I was so shocked, I can't even remember if I had my camera in my hand or in the rucksack.

I wouldn't recommend thin leather, it actually wicks heat very well-my leather gloves actually make my hands colder. a good synthetic pair will be much more effective

Some pretty awesome photos in this forum, and some pretty bad ones as well. As a recent 1DX owner I felt for a longtime my photos where not worthy enough to post in this thread. Until I made this photo of a White-tailed Eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) 4 days ago. Hope you guys like it, I know I do :)

1DX with 500mm f/4 @ 1/2000 sec., f/5.6, ISO 2000

Awesome!
WOW X 1000!!  Awesome ROEL!  This is one of the best ever!  Really Awesome!  I'm jealous!
