I shot some HS Hockey with my new 1DX...I'm impressed.  Here are a few photos.

All shot through the "glass", which I figure costs me about a 1/2 stop.

Lovely shots. I love it that you can see the eyes following the puck. And the expressions...

Thanks....I love that I can shoot 3200 ISO with so little noise indoors.

dogs...case #1 and #4.  single center point with 8 expansion points.  AF mode - "quick"

Thanks Northstar...I have gone through Canons AF guide, but it helps to know what really works, out in the field.  Thanks for the link to Peter Miller's secrets...I will definitely check it out
