Jesse Owens Track Classic:  3000M Steeplechase and man was that curve dark!  I couldn't bring it all the way up in post, as you can see.  Used the 300 f/2.8L I IS lens here, 1/500, f/2.8, and ISO 5000 with a little push in post.  This gentleman, Ben Miller, won the race.

RPT, eml58, Gary Samples, Lemmy and others; Your shots are all very amazing and an inspiration to us all.  It's wonderful to be associated with such a fine group of photographers that know how to properly use the tools we have to produce such beautiful images.

Attached are a few of my recent shots.  The in-flight images were taken with a 70-200 mm f/2.8L II USM + 1.4X and the Wood Duck in the water was shot using a 600 mm f/4.0L II USM.  No cropping on any of them.

Hi Sharpshot, Love the last Image, well done, it's such a great Combo 1Dx + 600f/4 VII, I'm still getting used to mine, had the 300 & 400 V II's for a while & decided to get the 600 based on Gary Samples work plus some of the places I'm headed this year (Tanzania & Svalbard) call for some longer reach.

Not something we see around Jakarta too much, but would probably get me to the Airport quicker.

Me? Thank you. I am nowhere close to the folks you list. However, thank you for your kind words. This forum has helped me get better. I have always been a lazy photographer...

Blue, white and brown. Lovely picture!

Btw, what are you complaining about? If you want warmer weather come over to my place - Pune, India - a comfortable 38 degrees and I am talking C not F :).

No weather channel - the weather does not change that much...

This freshman from Michigan State ran the 5000 meter run in 14:14 and won the race at the Jesse Owens classic.  This is the beginning of the final straightaway where he outkicked the OSU runner on his left.
