B&W is much stronger image. Or change the blue background to a complimentary, or tertiary, colour.
Too often we lose sight of the fact that photography is about capturing light, if we have the ability to take control of that light then we grow exponentially as photographers. More often than not the image is not about lens speed, sensor size, MP's or AF, it is about the light.

Colour. And I love B&W. But here the colour one stands out.

I also prefer the B&W version, though I also agree with privatebydesign that a different background colour may make all the difference with the colour version.

Also, for whatever it is worth, I think the last shot of Danielle is from slightly the wrong angle. I would love to see more (if you know what I mean)  ::) 8) ;D :D

Great work, and Glasgow is, for some strange reason, rapidly increasing in rank on the list of places I must visit real soon.  ;)

I like what you have done there privatebydesign. I guess one could use the red of her lips, or as you have done, the green of her eyes. Very nice.
