great shots Edward! looks like a you had a great trip! were you tempted to take a cold plunge
?
Thanks Guys, comments always appreciated.
On the Cold Plunge Northstar ?/ Never, not Once, at times with Wind chill it got to -40 especially at 83 degrees North when we were following the edge of the Icepack, it's the first time I've ever had to swap out batteries on the 1Dx twice in a 12 hour period, the Camera Body was so cold you risked loosing skin touching it, the Lens was covered with a Lens Coat like all my Big Whites so it wasn't an issue, but we did have one day where we took a large wave into the Zodiac that almost swamped us, couple of people damaged their Cameras, and the 1Dx + 200-400f/4 took a real soaking in Salt Water, just kept working, after a fresh water clean back onboard the Stockholm, never missed a beat.
