A barn owl.

Cropped to my taste, and cropped to 100% to show the detail in the full image.
If you debate with a fool onlookers can find it VERY difficult to tell the difference.

Agreed, Lovely Image.

I still remember (and get Goose Bumps) when I think of a recent Nat Geo Image of a Barn Owl Flying out of a Window of an Old Barn towards the Photographer, amazing Image.

Agree, these animals must be trained for the cat walk :)
And you keep on inducing doubt about the sanity of selling that lens. If it had been with the 200-400, these would have been ISO2000 and 3200 ...

True, & True.

I as a rule shoot the 200-400f/4 @ a Base ISO of 400-800, where I would shoot the f/2.8 @ 200-400.

Under the conditions in my last 3 Images Posted I would have been shooting at ISO 2000 Minimum.

Lately I am becoming insecure about posting here, but I must so here I go.

It was sad to see this man begging in the rain while people all around were partying.

Wow! Look at the muscles! On the Paws, Cheeks, Neck... Is it a male? Claws are retracted. Seems very much at ease. Must be "Fed up" ;)

And you shot it @300mm? Not your 200-400L @400x1.4? What were you thinking? Or may be you noticed the claws were retracted...

Sanj, you feeling insecure? Think about my plight!

BTW, that begging in the rain - that is marketing. The only product around is bound to get noticed. With so much exposure to media beggars know what gets to you...
