Hi Carl, something like this.

Cropped about 20% out so the Bulls backs were out of the Image (LR5)

In PSCC, adjusted brightness (I used a Circular Polariser so Images were dark), adjusted Levels.

Moved to NIK Viveza 2 to slightly increase brightness on the Face only.

Moved the Image to On One Suite 8 Layers, made an adjustment in On One effects to to strengthen contrast & background colour.

Sharpened in On One

Moved to Define 2 as the background had built up some Noise, denoised just the background slightly.

Adjusted size in On One "Resize" for web.

About 30 minutes on the Image.

Almost everything I do in NIK & On One can be done in Photoshop, to a lesser degree in LR5, but NIK & On One are just more intuitive than Photoshop, at least for me.

Wow that's more than I thought, great work!  Did those get published?

I too have OnOne, but it's suite 7.5.  I like it a lot, especially the effects suite, besides of course "resize".  The portrait section seems to work well also.  I used it on the image of "Spring at Red Clay", found in Jrista's "waterscapes" thread.  It's printed on endura metallic paper, and I must say it looks as good or better than it does on screen.  Not all the ones I've printed on it do, but that one does.  The small version I posted doesn't do the full rez version justice.  Shot with the much reviled Sigma DP2 with a Fuji wide conversion lens added onto it...and a polarizer filter fitted in between...with both step down and step up rings.

Hi Carl, most, if not all, of my Images need some work, I'de like to think at some point I get to the stage where little to none is required but at 64 I may not have enough time left.   :)

The image of the chap I posted with Mud all round him was one of those difficult ones to get right, he was behind two Bulls, coming directly towards me at the speed of charging Bulls, Mud Flying all over the place so messing with the AF on the 1Dx, basically I set the 1Dx on Manual, gave it +1 stop, f/8 to take care of DOF, 1/800th to semi freeze action, ISO1000 because I was using a Circular Polariser to cut down reflections from the mud & water highlights, and focussed on the bulls heads as they came towards me, then ensured my escape path was unobstructed, the bulls had an escape area at the end of the Mud Bath Run only about 20 Meters wide, I placed myself in the middle and moved left or right out of the Bulls Path, this only became an issue when they released 2 or 3 sets of Bulls at the same time, then it was best to make your escape earlier rather than later.

Biggest issue I had with this Image was having to crop 20% (I generally try not to crop at all if possible & the 200-400 has been a huge help in that area), introduces Noise which I'm not keen on, Dfine2 takes care of most of it & unlike some software programmes you can determine where you make the adjustment in the image.

The new On One Version 8 is a very worthwhile upgrade, I've worked for many years with Photoshop and am reasonably comfortable with it, but On One is what Photoshop should be, much more intuitive and easier to use, My feel is that given another upgraded version On One may well prove to be the Photoshop Killer. If Adobe ever introduce Layers to Light Room it will also be the end of Photoshop for 90% of users I would think.

I don't publish my Images, having said that I've won a number of Underwater photo competitions, had my Images published in several Travel Magazines and have sold several of my Wildlife Images to Businesses in Singapore & Japan, I do print for Friends & Family of course and although I've talked about setting up a website I'm still in the "talking about it" stage, have been for several years.   ;)

The only place I post images at all is here on CR, I do that because I tend to like the people, like yourself, that post images, comment & offer advice on this Site, there are exceptions of course, but not many which is unusual for a site like CR.

And I liked the Green Foliage Image you posted in waterscapes, very nice.

Beautiful cat you have there. ;) I was impressed with the little distortion of the set 1Dx + Zeiss 15mm. :o I expected much more distortion in this short distance and angle from the bottom up. ::)

Yes, he is a good looking cat and he is as arrogant as only a cat can be. He is also a big cat and he rules the neighborhood as a true tyrant :P

This lens is extremely good. Distortion is low and all other artifacts are also very well controlled. Only problems (which are not really important to me) are a fixed hood, manual focus and a fairly stiff price tag. But if you can live with those, I don´t believe there is a better super wide angle lens you can hook on to a Canon body.
