Nice looking Birds Eldar, well shot.

Probably look good in a pot as well, with some stuffing.

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

One question though. All three pictures went through exactly the same process and adjustments (hardly any). But on my monitors, of which one is a self calibrating Eizo, the third image has totally different colors than the others. Does any of you have an explanation for that?

AWB. Even a slight change will shift color balance.  Its best to manually select daylight when you are shooting outdoors.

I looked closer, and the only difference is WB Tint=14 on the first two and Tint=15 on the third. I made A3+ prints of all the three I posted and I cannot tell them apart. All other data are identical. But I changed it to 14 and this is the result:

Post post comment: That tiny adjustment actually made the difference :)

Bullriding yesterday.  1/800 is better than the 1/250 I had the last time out, I look forward to seeing what I can do with better flash placement to get the ISO down and the shutter speed up.

See what I see: 6500K, 160 cd/m^2, ICC 2, gamma 2.2.

AWB would be the culprit Eldar, most people these days will leave white balance up to the Camera set to Auto, after all it can be fixed in Post.

I'm of the opinion that WB is best fixed in Camera, so I always set the white balance manually, just like you would for a jpg Image.
