Quick update: went to local camera shop today(by myself this time) looking for a backpack to fit 24-70 II and 70-200 combo. Some how, my American Express got charged @ $6,000ish :o

Local camera shop has one left - display unit. My freshly brand new 1DX should arrive next tues or wed - with 3yrs Canon US warranty for less than $6200

Hope the wife is not reading this thread... ;D
Uh oh, you made three big mistakes: (1) you left the house with your AMEX (2) you went alone (3) you held the camera in your hands!

The good news is that you get a 1D X for your troubles!  Congrats!  I'm sure you're going to love it and I look forward to seeing your 1D X photos on this thread.

I only shoot at ISO 100 with perfect technique - should I get a Nikon?
