sorry but these are horrible. they raise the msrp then add a rebate.

I am skipping the rebates...um...CAnon....24-70mm f/2.8 II...puuuuuuuleeeeeeeease....at this point we deserve a rebate when it ships for pain and suffering.  :-)

I'll pick one up on the 7th of September when traveling to NYC, directly at B&H.
I will be interesting to see the price in a few hours...
Right now they are still showing the rebate, I though the 1st of September was no "included" but it seems it is.

Do you think that it will go for much more? There is no way for me to order and pick up at the store right?

Looks as if these rebates are still active at B&H and Calumet (Sept. 4th). Does anyone know if these have been extended? Or if anything else may be coming up soon?

B&H states that the $300 instant saving on the 70-200 II is available until Sept 29th.

I haven't checked the other lenses for similar savings extensions.

The rebates were extended for another month and some additional ones added for Camera bodies.\
