Still not totally dead. All Raw, minimal playback review. ~90°F ambient temps, over a 12 hr period.

Not too surprising - lots of rapid fire really extends battery life. I've taken a couple thousand shots in an evening doing AFMAs in a lens collection (lots of cumulative LCD time to change the settings between shots) and finished with ~65% capacity remaining. Shooting a hundred shots a day and sleeping every night, you'll see a lot fewer shots on a charge.
Still...pretty awesome!

Yes, the batteries in a 1 Series DSLR are top notch and just plain last longer. They seem to use ultra premium cells. (Sony does specify different quality levels in their li-0n cells).

I don't shoot whole football matches , but use mine every day, no LV and I'm getting 1200... I miss the 2800 of the 1d3...
