Fantastic shots! The clarity is superb. Did you use the 24-70 for the macro shots too? Wow!

That thing just keeps on hitting them out of the park.  They look like images from a whole different class of camera/lens (i.e. Leica, MF, etc.)

Nice composition too :-).  Congrats & keep it up.

I am currently out out in western Queensland on the edge of the Outback capturing spectacular images with the 1DX coupled up with 24~70mm L 2.8 II. Out here in Longreach the stars at night are simply stunning, being far inland from light pollution. Longreach is home to the QANTAS Foundation Museum, making for an excellent photographic opportunity. :)
