Nice photos, especially the first and last. ;) However, it seems in the second picture the perspective correction was exaggerated, and was artificial. ??? :-\ You corrected the perpective with Photoshop?

In fact, most of the perspective correction already comes from the lens. It is 17mm, the lens points directly forward (not up) and I cut away the lower part of the photo. 17mm already looks quite extreme in the corners, because of the aspherical elements. Of course I still use Photoshop, if the perspective is not 100% correct. And I need Lightroom to get rid of the heavy barrel distortion with a click. Without that most lines would be curved.

On the fourth photo the perspective was quite heavily corrected with Photoshop, because on the original photo the camera was pointed up.

*snigger* most of these could have come from me as I'm (also) from Berlin.

I like the moonlit scene at the bottom best, the others above it are good quality but fairly "standard" if you get the technique right - but making that part of Friedrichshain look beautiful takes some effort, and the water reflections & clouds are nice. You might want to give a 10x nd filter a try to get a silk water effect and more cloud blur.

I had guessed it was a tilt-shift lens, nice work Mathias!
