I like the second one.  It has proper exposure, it is sharp, and it has open framing.  The first one has barriers in front of the cat (which is unsettling to viewers -- you want to give your kitties an escape route visually), it needs to be brightened up a bit, the white balance may be off, and it is not sharp.

The 70-200 f/4L is extraordinarily versatile for landscape details.  I think this formation in Antelope Canyon emulates a dragon portrait, or perhaps a carp or something...

Actually managed to get some flare :P
