B&H Photo has informed us that they are taking preorders for the Canon EOS-1D C 4K DSLR. The price is $11,999 and is expected to be available on December 26, 2012.

Adorama had the EOS 6D up on their site and actually allowed it to be preordered. The page has since been pulled.
You can check back after 12AM EST for the actual preorder links for the new EOS DSLR. I guess we can confirm the price at $2099, in my opinion $100 over what should have been the target price in the USA.

They’re coming!
We have unconfirmed reports that a few retailers in the US and Canada will be receiving their initial Canon EOS-1D X shipments this week.
We have reports they’ve shown up already in Montreal, Canada. I expect to get mine some time this week.

We can’t confirm, but we’ve heard B&H Photo has told preorder customers that they expect a shipment this week. The July 4, 2012 holiday may disrupt some shipping though.

According to B&H, for the moment Canon is holding to the arrival of June 17, 2012 for the new Canon EF 24 f/2.8 IS & EF 28 f/2.8 IS lenses. They are both now available for preorder.

I played around with the 24 f/2.8 IS for a bit and liked it at first glance, I haven’t touched the 28 f/2.8 IS as of yet.
