Coming Soon?
Jeff Brehm, a photo editor and photographer made this statement on the sportsshooter message board.

“I won't say who told me … but a well-placed person at one of the site sponsors told me last week that the new Canon Mark IV is coming out next month.”

Canon Press Event September 29, 2009?
From the world of anonymous. Someone is claiming they've been invited to a Canon press event on the 29th of September to see one of Canon's “biggest and most important launches in history.”

  1. 12mm is very wide. I’d have to see how much distortion there is before I’d say how usable it is. The Canon 14mm is rectilinear, and is quite usable. But even so, if I’m going to buy a 12mm I don’t want it turned into a 16mm. My 16mm I dont want turned into a 21mm. My 24mm I don’t want turned into a 31mm.

BTW, the 16-35mm L was introduced in September 2001, its already on the mark II.

Doing 1 to 3 shoots a week right now, not bad given the economy.
