2000D
I'm told the 2000D will have the articulating screen that has been sometimes rumored to be a feature of the 60D.

A few features sent in today. Could be crazy.

– DIGIC V
– A New Liveview/EOS Movie AF system that is much faster than what is currently available.
– Some kind of a rotating grip for making video shooting easier.

No idea what to make of this stuff, it's the first I've heard of any of it.

  1. Only 1.3X crop factor may move me. We have T2i and 7D already, why bother to have a model standing in between?

I don’t mind to have a new model maintaining 18MP with a bigger sensor. This making sense.

  2. It’s the 2000D that would have a side-hinged screen. 60D would have a fixed screen but would have a right-hand grip that can rotate 90° backward so that the cam can be held like a camcorder during Live View and EOS Movie mode. DigicV enables ultra-fast “hybrid AF” by using 2-stage AF (phase detect for gross defocus + contrast-detect AF as fine-tuning in front/behind the FP) during LV & EOS Movie mode.
