Yep, on 5dmk2 vertical banding problem is already fixed.. I think :)
Your wish will come true, albeit in a different name.
The next firmware update for the 50D will be called “EOS 60D”.
For all intents & purposes, the current “Rebel” is the 500D/T1i. That makes the 400D/XTi a 2-generation old canera. What’s Canon’s track record in firmware updates for such oldies?
What about 40D Canon?????
