I've only received sightings from one person in Toronto. Anyone else seen the 7D out and about?

Gee you’re quick to write it off aren’t you, and without knowing anything about its performance. Nor, apparently, about its price either, if you think it’s $200…
You’d bloody well hope 800×533 was noise free…
well I’m mostly just venting because I have to wait another month, according to the camera store guy. But to be fair, the cheaper kit lenses dont have fancy UD glass elements for reducing chromatic aberations, as well as other things like USM AF drive etc. This is what I base my assumption on when I say it is junky. It may well be a perfectly decent lens for some people.

While it’s true that this one doesn’t have USM, it does have a single aspherical+UD element, and it costs as much as the 17-85.
