About time. I upgraded from an XSi to a T2i two months ago and the RAW files have really been piling up…
Hi MIke, the CS3 converter is not for me. I have CS4 but the magazine i work for has CS3… not my problem but trying to help them out and not go the long way round and use the DNG converter which is what they doing now. We think magazines have the latest computers and software but its not the case. So much red tape and people to got through to get something it takes forever… But i do have a problem with leopard (MAC) not allowing me view my RAWs. Any suggestions besides using bridge?
Good point.
I see Apple did just release a mid-cycle update for 550D/t2i and some others, so they are doing a bit better in that regard.

Just use the Adobe DNG converter.
I think in Windows Bridge uses Adobe’s interpretation of the RAW files – Windows Explorer uses the Canon RAW Codec.
I would assume that a Mac is similar here:
Adobe Interpretation in Bridge.
Canon Codec Required otherwise.
