Bigger and faster? That’s the 7D.
Anything slightly better than the 550D will be better than the 7D.

I’m really hoping this will be the 60d, if it is full frame, I’ll buy it because any saving on a 5d means more money for Canon glass.
I still cannot justify buying an APS-C camera as I’m only interested in primes and really appreciate wide angles, for me it’s got to be full frame because I want to buy into an SLR/HDSLR system that is as flexible as possible.
A 28 f1.8 on full frame will do until I can get a 24 ts-e likewise a 35 f2 before a 35 f1.4 but if I put money into an APS-C camera I’ll end up with a sigma 17-50 f2.8 and a sigma 30 f1.4 neither of which would be any use when I did upgrade to FF, so it’s spend a grand and a half now and double that to then go full frame or keep waiting.
