I think you may be right. I may need to have my 20D shutter release button replaced and wait for another couple years. If the 50D was a better camera, my 20D would have been in the junk pile a long time ago.
I’ll be happy when this is all over. In just a few days we know what’s coming and if it was worth the wait. Then we know if Canon took up the fight, or committed Harakiri…..

Definately buy it. I have the same set up and for wedding/portraits it is absolutely perfect. I still have a 30D if I need the extra fps. Mind you if the 7D comes in as speced the the 30D will get replaced but the 5D II will still be my weddings workhorse.
