My a650 outlasted my SD series and G series powershots by a factor of 2-to-1. A 4AA battery camera, though a little larger, is a great compact. It’s just that Canon decided they should kill the line.
A “little” larger? 4 AA batteries alone are almost as big as my Ixus 40 itself.

why would raising the price make it a pro crop line?
CRGuy, does this source point to anything more interesting coming out on the same day? Like a DSLR or two and some new lenses?
