I clicked the link yesterday and it also showed $399 for me so not sure when it was actually $299. I would have picked up a couple at that price.

They accidentally applied a $100 discount to it for Black Friday on top of the existing $100 discount. It was supposed to replace the discount, not supplement it. They fixed it almost immediately but I have seen several places still trying to link to the $299 price.
