ContinueCrushingTech decided it was a good idea to see how many continuous shots it would take to kill the shutter on the Canon EOS 7D Mark II.
According to Canon's specs, the EOS 7D Mark II shutter life expectancy is 200,000 actuations. Which at 10fps, means the camera should shoot continuously for more than 5 hours before we get the dreaded Err. 20.
Unfortunately, this Canon EOS 7D Mark II shutter didn't last until 200,000 actuations, it failed at a paltry 199,591 actuations.
I say it's time they put the 400,000 claimed actuations Canon EOS-1D X Mark II shutter to the test.
