Canon releases the Canon EOS R5 Mark II User Manual

Canon has released the manual for the R5 Mark II so you can read about Canon’s newest prosumer / professional camera.

I think this is as good as we are going to get in terms of R5 Mark II specifications as many of the various websites have displayed conflicting specification information. I’ll be updating this article and the main R5 articles with the formatted specifications once I get them all nice for web display on our website.

But the table you’ve all been waiting for. This doesn’t seem to be complete as there is no mention of the high-temperature threshold setting set to high. There is also no additional information about the times when with cooling fan was installed, so we are still working through this information as well.

    Just FYI Topaz is not free either and if you want regular updates you basically pay an annual fee, which is for all essential purposes a paid subscription. There is no free lunch.

    Canon is not forcing you to buy any of these subscription services to utilize either R5 Mk2 or R1. They are optional and you can easily buy / use other software except for the Content Transfer Professional which is $50 / year.

    So, that was the paid subscription part of the rumors.
    It makes sense that it would not be free if you are using their neural network.
    There are probably people who are paying a lot of other subscriptions who won't mind if the price is worth it.
