A MIL camera would NOT use EF-S mount lenses.
The Sony NEX doesn’t use Alpha mount lenses. A Micro 4/3 uses a different mount than a normal 4/3. Why would Canon compromise the design of their MIL camera by using EF-S lenses.
Seems that G12 will only have HD-video. I would wait for G13 with Full HD video.
Sadly there’s as many people crying out for that lens as for the 50-150 f/2.8. Still, if I could afford /Canon/ versions of those lenses I’d be able to spring for a full frame camera too. Ah well :-/
