  1. The wait for the 60D is seriously making me crazy. The T2i is a great camera, but after selling my 40D to get it, I’m regretting the better build quality and FPS. Need 60D ASAP!

  2. Don’t worry. You won’t be disappointed. I bought the 7D six months ago and haven’t looked back.

The camera is 10X smarter than I am and solid as a rock. Most of the fantasizing you read here is just that…fantasizing.

Canon has a huge investment in this camera and did a lot of market research before launching it. I can’t imagine they are about to undercut it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they keep the 50D in the lineup for another year. Personally, I think they view the T2i as the competitor to the D90. (Can’t wait for the comments I’ll get on that one!)

Worst case scenario, you’ll have a great camera that will produce awesome quality photos for as long as you choose to own it. Frankly, isn’t that what we should want in a camera anyway?

  3. body, viewfinder, wireless flash control, top lcd, etc are few things that makes D90 so desirable, none of these things are there in any rebel or nikon low end series

  4. Thanks for the words of encouragement! I sold my 40D on eBay (shipped it off yesterday) to be able to afford the 7D… am really looking forward to using it as soon as I get the sling off my arm (I had rotator cuff surgery a week and a half ago)…

  5. you are right..
The canon 50D is older by one day.. jajaja.

Anyway.. D90 still a good option over the 50D… isnt it?
