I don’t think it is, nor I have heard it could be coming. The current one will be getting a big discount in 5D2 kits. The 17-85 has a big discount in kits and it has yet to be replaced so I wouldn’t read into that.

Completely agree with oscar. This is obviously bullshit (or simply a mistake on the site…).
But it can be desastrous for people selling the current lens cause buyers will wait for a product which will never exist.
CR used to be more serious about “rumors”.
I am really disappointed.
