The drop on the bodies is pretty nice. But some of this is BS. They are listing the LPE 6N at $69 claiming it is a big drop from the $100 list price but nobody pays list. As for the cinema bodies I am expecting a flood of refurbs coming as people that picked them up on the no money down Canon lease start to return them.
What do refurbed Canon Cinemas go for, I couldn't find a single C200 offered as a refurb? You can literally get a brand new C200 for less than the price of a 1DX, I don't think you will save much more by getting a refurb. To me these prices are incredible (ok maybe not the battery) but those Cinema prices are probably at rock bottom now.

I was wondering what kind of an effect these cuts would have on the rest of the market as $1000 is a pretty good drop. We got the first answer today as BMD just dropped the price of the BMPCC 6K to $1995.
I saw that too...I think the S1H and S1 will follow sometime soon. The problem is Panasonic cannot afford a drop like that.

I hadn't seen it posted here but the price drop on the Cine lenses makes the drop on the bodies look like a non-event.

"Both lenses are now priced at $9,999 USD. These lenses were $23,275 USD, so that is a discount of more than $13,000 USD."
