Canon 1dx3-Digital Lens optimizer etc etc

Hello All.

Can someone simply explain which is the best mode to turn on for "in Camera Correction" for lenses? From the get go we have "Peripheral Illu Correction, Distortion Correction, Chromatic Aberr Corr and Diffraction Correction. I know if you turn on" Digital Lens Optimizer", it closes out a couple of other ones. Does this affect RAW files or only JPEGS? any advice would be appreciated. I shoot both JPG and RAWS.

It affects only jpgs, and partially movie mode. If you use DPP to process the RAWs then it will read the settings from the metadata and apply them. You can change that to your liking.
Outside of DPP those settings will be ignored.
Thank you for your reply. But is it better to leave "Digital Lens Optimizer" on or off? and "Yes" I do shoot JPGS occasionally lol "Confessions of a JPG Shooter". :)
