finally a clear night, i mean 4 clear hours, those nights are the shortest of the year ,and it was full moon,
then best target was M13 i guess
120 subs 60 secondes, 25 darks, 15 flats, 200 offsets
with my canon 700da+500 4 is , neq6 pro
i have a 1ds3, oooold camera 2007 and a 1dx, i had a 5d2 and 5d3, and my fav is still 1ds3 for image quality. i wont change a 1d for a 5d, no matter if it s a mk2, mk3, or mk12. try them and decide if you enjoy a 1d- serie or you pefere something lighter like a 5d series.
thanks for feedback guys i apreciate. For my last picture of the rainbow i used a 1dx I shooted handheld in burst mode, 20 pictures, i staked them with super resolution technique. The final image is around 95 millions pixels.
a picture i took few weeks ago in lofoten. An iconic spot from hanmoy bridge. a spot taken one billion time. But at this moment, look at this unreal rainbow. after days of rain, it was a unique moment.
nice pano, especially with only 10 sec exposures. With a skytracker and 1 or 3 minutes exposure it will be super awesome. you must have a good sky to see the core like that.
2 hours around sadr with canon 500f4 is and canon 700da

yes a 45 euros adaptator, canon ef lens to asi camera works only with Ef lens, not efs.
the asi120 is a 170$ camera, the sensor is so small, the crop is huge .
