A lightweight wildlife lens as an alternative to my 1DX Mark II/600mm would get me to by into the RF system.

I'm a birder with a 1DX Mark II with a 600mm II lens. If Canon announced an RF lens like the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR Lens and an RF Mount 2X teleconverter I'd buy into the R system.

If Canon really wanted to get into the mirrorless game, they should just adopt Micro 4/3. They certainly can turn out better glass than Olympus or Panasonic, and they have better color management expertise. They should go all in and abandon the ES-M lens mount.
